Wonder stores can appeal to many demographics, since they carry a variety of merchandise in various price points, including everything from apparel to jewelry to home accessories, according to Kelly Gedinsky, a broker with New York City-based brokerage firm Winick Realty Group. Today the retailer operates at least seven locations, most of them in high-end malls in the New York tri-state region, with stores ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 sq. ft.

Winick Realty Opens New Office in New Jersey

Winick Realty Group LLC opened an office in Cranford, N.J. Daniel Spector and Tyler Bennett, senior vice presidents and founding partners, will be in charge of the new office. Spector has more than 25 years of experience in retail real estate leasing and asset sales. Bennett has 10 years of experience in the industry.

Winick’s New Jersey office has recently been retained by Vornado Realty Trust as the exclusive leasing agent for some of its properties in the area. In addition, the office serves as exclusive broker in the region for Crunch Fitness, Buffalo Wild Wings, Pep Boys, Wendy’s, Safeguard Self Storage, Jersey Mike’s and Chipotle Mexican Grill.

Winick Realty Group LLC negotiated the sale of a 17,676-sq.-ft. retail property at 80 Jamaica Ave. in Brooklyn for $3.2 million. The transaction closed at a cap rate of 5.3 percent. The building houses a Citibank branch location on the ground floor. Zach Mishaan, of Winick Realty, represented the buyer in the deal. Ken Zakin, Hymie Dweck and Randall Liberman, of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, represented the seller.
