Winick Realty Group LLC Named Exclusive Brokers for Expanding Emergency Care Brand

State-of-the-art emergency walk-in medical clinic MedRite Urgent Care has announced plans to expand its presence in Manhattan with the help of Winick Realty Group LLC. The clinic is building on the success of its first Manhattan location, which opened in March 2011 at 919 Second Avenue.

Winick Realty Group LLC Associate Tatiana Jung, who represented MedRite Urgent Care in their first lease transaction, will serve as the company’s exclusive broker along with Winick Realty Group LLC Director Richard Smith. Jung and Smith are actively seeking storefronts ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 square feet that are located on the avenues in high-traffic areas.

“MedRite Urgent Care offers a similar service to the ER because all of our doctors have worked in an ER before and can assess with our patients need,” said owner and administrator Samuel Fisch, who runs their current location at 919 Second Avenue, “but we are cleaner, faster and less expensive than an ER. Our patients get in and out fast with good care at a good price.”

MedRite doctors are able to handle minor trauma cases, perform blood work and urinalysis, and can evaluate for almost anything. Experienced technicians run the laboratory and x-ray services on-site and board-certified emergency physicians man the spacious examination rooms. MedRite also provides a wide variety of well patient services like physicals, employment screenings, insurance certifications, and complete well woman care.

MedRite accepts walk-in patients, as well as those who make appointments on their website, on all major insurance plans.

Winick Realty Group LLC Exclusively Markets Fully-Renovated Branding Corner on the Upper East Side

Winick Realty Group LLC is proud to announce that the retail at 1270 Lexington Avenue is coming to market for the first time in 30 years. Associate Director Kelly Gedinsky is exclusively marketing the soon-to-be-renovated storefront, located on the northwest corner of 85th Street, on behalf of Moin Development and The Moinian Group.

Following the culmination of Emigrant Bank’s lease on the space, ownership decided to completely renovate and upgrade the existing retail, bringing it up to date with an area that has been revitalized thanks to tenants such as H&M, Panera Bread, Sephora, Bank of America, Fairway, Barnes & Noble and Shake Shack.

“Ownership is completely renovating the brick façade and will transform the newly-available retail into an all glass box, creating more than 100 feet of frontage,” said Gedinsky. “With such great proximity to public transportation and an amazing list of retailers, this is the ideal branding corner for tenants who want high visibility in the center of the Upper East Side.”

The store, which will be coming available in the Spring upon completion of the renovation, will offer up to three floors of retail below a rental apartment building. Measuring 3,350 square feet on the ground floor, 3,105 on the second floor and 3,105 on the lower level, 1270 Lexington Avenue is one of the largest availabilities remaining on the Upper East Side.

New York City’s First and Only Wild Bird Sanctuary Signs Lease at 565 Columbus Avenue

The Wild Bird Fund, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to rehabilitating New York City’s wild birds, has signed a lease at 565 Columbus Avenue, between 87th and 88th Streets on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Situated across the street from affiliate Animal General, the 800-square-foot location will be the first and only wild bird sanctuary in New York City.

“New York was the only major city not to have a wild bird sanctuary,” explained Winick Realty Group LLC’s Brian Tregerman. “This will be a great location for them. Not only is the store close to Central Park, but it’s also on what’s becoming a very pet-oriented block, with the Center of Avian and Exotic Medicine and a pet store nearby.”
