Richard Kave has been named director of international retail at Winick Realty Group.

Kave came to Winick Realty Group from Garrick-Aug Associates where he first teamed with Paulette Powell, who has joined him at Winick as associate director of the International Retail Group.

ITC, Empire Hotel take Winick exclusives to 130,000 s/f

Winick Realty Group has been selected as exclusive retail leasing representatives for eight new prestigious assignments that include the former International Toy Center at 200 Fifth Avenue and a new development in Brooklyn.

The exclusive leasing team of Jeff Winick, CEO Winick Realty Group, and Lori Shabtai, director of luxury and brand retail will lead to efforts to lease up the properties.

Wine store has big plans for Union Square site

Winick Realty Group represented Union Square Wines and Spirits in a new lease for approximately 6,700 s/f at 140 Fourth Avenue located at the Northwest Corner of 13th Street.

Union Square Wines and Spirits will take occupancy of the space in Spring 2006.

Winick does double duty as restaurant takes a stake in SI

Winick Realty Group recently brokered a 10-year, 13,000 s/f lease for Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill.

Outback Steakhouse, Inc. acquired the rights to develop Carrabba’s nation wide in 1995. This venture marks Outback’s greatest market presence in the history of the company.

The new “dual-concept” restaurants will stand side by side on Richmond Avenue at “The Crossings” in the Staten Island Mall.

The restaurants include outdoor exposure and are scheduled to open Summer 2006.

Frank Terzulli and Diana Boutross, of Winick Realty Group represented the tenant. General Growth Corporation is the landlord.

WINICK REALTY GROUP ARRANGES ACQUISITION FOR GRAFF JEWELERS

NEW YORK CITY — Elyse Schindler-Candella of Winick Realty Group has represented Graff Jewelers in its purchase of a 12,000-square-foot townhouse located at 46 E. 61st St. in New York City, which Graff will use for its U.S. headquarters. Reba Miller of R.P. Miller & Associates represented the seller, which sold the property for $12 million.

ABS/Winick team up for Flatiron assignment

ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC and Winick Realty Group have teamed up again to co-exclusively market and lease the prime retail space located at 184 Fifth Avenue. This project marks their fifth joint venture this year.

Darrell Rubens, director, Angellina DeRichie, and Jeff Winick, CEO of Winick Realty Group along with Earl Altman, Gregg Schenker, John Gols and Benjamin Waller of ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC will manage the assignment.
