Adam Charness joined Winick Realty Group in 2014, where he represents both tenants and landlords throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Mr. Charness he has worked on behalf of many property owners—including Madison Capital, The Zar Group, Rudin Management Company, Madison Realty Capital, Orbach Associates, Milestone Equities, and Mercer Square Owners Corp.—as well as tenants in many recent notable transactions. He represented HUF Worldwide in securing their New York City Flagship at 125 Crosby Street, as well as negotiated leases on behalf of Muleh at 160 Ninth Avenue, Zee Dog at 442 Broome Street, Joe’s Pizza at 216 Bedford Avenue, and Havaianas at 382 Bleecker Street. In addition, Mr. Charness worked on behalf of ownership to secure leases at 1450 Broadway for Chop’t and Sushiritto, 207 Ninth Avenue for Garber Hardware, and 687 Broadway for The Evolution Store.
Prior to working at Winick, Mr. Charness taught English for a year in South Korea, worked with the LHA Charitable Trust assisting Tibetan refugees in India, and held various other jobs in many countries around the world. This experience has given him a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of different cultures, helping him successfully deal with international retailers and landlords in New York City.
Mr. Charness received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Miami. He is a licensed Salesperson in the state of New York.
