Bright Horizons Leases First Brooklyn Location
Bright Horizons has leased its first Brooklyn location at 175 Kent Avenue, between N 3rdand N 4th Streets in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The Watertown, MA-based company will occupy 2,484 square feet on the ground floor, as well as 18,228 square feet in the lower level, when it opens in 2013. The center is located at the base of a luxury rental building, with another high-end rental building across the street and a park only a few blocks away.
Bright Horizons was represented by Peter Occhi and Michael Hofmann of Cassidy Turley in this lease transaction.
“With so many young families moving into the area in recent years, an amenity of this kind will be an amazing addition to Kent Avenue and to Williamsburg,” said Diana D. Boutross, senior managing director at Winick Realty Group LLC, who represented landlord The Chetrit Group along with Winick Realty Group LLC Executive Vice President Lori Shabtai.
Bright Horizons serves as the corporate daycare of Chase Bank and has consistently been named to the “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” list by FORTUNE magazine.
