Professional Experience
Elie Dayan joined Winick Realty Group LLC after more than 15 years of self-employment in the retail business. Mr. Dayan owned a number of retail stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey, ranging in size from 1,000 to 20,000 square feet, and spent two years as the owner of a health food café in Brooklyn. This experience gave Mr. Dayan an immeasurable understanding of how stores of various sizes and functions operate. He also had hands-on experience with advertising and marketing as the owner of Bankruptcy Warehouse, a 130,000-square-foot retail operation out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mr. Dayan hopes to use that unique skill set in both tenant and landlord representation at Winick Realty Group LLC. His ability to see a site’s distinctive promise was evident in the role he played back in 2000 in the acquisition and assemblage of the world-famous Coney Island boardwalk by Thor Equities. “Thinking out of the box comes naturally to me because where I come from, there is no box,” said Mr. Dayan. “It’s what I do best.”
