‘Food Block’ Gets New Eatery
Darrell Rubens, senior managing director, and Joshua Singer, associate director, of Winick Realty Group LLC represented the landlord, TF Cornerstone. Barbara Lamb of Prudential Douglas Elliman represented Hot Clay Oven.
Rubens and Singer already leased space for food retailers Goodburger and Prêt a Manger, as well as the Montessori Day School, at the base of the 51-story luxury residential complex known as 2 Gold Street.
The brokers are continuing to market 2,700 s/f of ground-floor space and 11,100 s/f of second-floor space at the building.
They have received interest from unnamed food tenants, “fitting with the nature of the block,” said Singer, “which is a food block.”
